AdBlue, also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), plays a vital role in reducing pollution from diesel engines. It works with your vehicle's Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system to convert harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions into harmless nitrogen and water vapor.

Here’s how it works in 3 simple steps:

• Injection: AdBlue is injected into the exhaust system, not into the engine itself.

• Chemical Reaction: When heated, AdBlue breaks down into ammonia, which reacts with NOx gases.
